I started training with Laura in January 2008. Today is June 30th 2008 and I can say that there has been a significant change in my phyiscal and emotional well being. My strength, endurance, and power has tremendously improved through the vast array of exercise programs during the training sessions. Lean muscle has increased and body fat has decreased on a monthly basis. Emotionally I feel that I have more energy throughout the day and also began in engaging in other fun activities like spinning and rock climbing. Laura also modifies the exercise program to meet each individuals' personal needs and goals. Every session brings something new and exciting leaving my body with a "good hurt" after every session. I highly recommend Laura as a personal trainer!

"My friend referred me to Laura for personal training because she thought we would match up well. My main priority was physical therapy because of numerous injuries. I was recovering from hip displacement, patellar dislocation, and a ripped groin muscle. Prior to starting at the gym I had been walking with a cane for around 5 months and had to limit my mobility as much as possible. For two years I had suffered from these injuries, I tried to rehabilitate on my own but to no avail I would re-injure myself in the process.
Laura started me out with light exercise routines that would also challenge me. She has shown infinite patience with me and has made accommodations while doing group training. If my injuries started to act up, she didn't hesitate to tell me to rest. Upon starting a program with Laura, I had wanted to set goals of weight loss since my injuries were caused by Ohio Peace Officer Training back in 2005. I was in peak physical condition and I wanted to work on getting back to that. While working with Laura my goals have changed and it is mainly because as of today, I have felt the best physically since my injuries. I feel like I did when I was training for OPOTA, up until I got injured.
Over the past months working with her, she has helped me acquire healthier eating habits and better physical condition all around. My injuries have not acted up for months now and I have been able to take on more difficult exercises. I am actually doing exercises on the same level of difficulty as I was while training two years ago. The confidence I have regained is fantastic and Laura has helped to pull me out of a depressed state that has lasted for two years. I am getting my life back, I wouldn't have been able to do it without her."

"Dear Laura, I just want to thank you for helping me to get on my way back to fitness and wholeness.
When I started training with you in mid-November 2005, I could barely do simple stretches because my back and entire body for that matter was in dire straights. My back and right leg were extremely weak which made bending, sitting for any length of time difficult. You patiently worked with me, now I can do cardio and weight training for one hour plus my back does not feel like it's about to break in two. While it still needs work, my right leg does not feel like dead weight anymore. Quite honestly, I hated most of the exercises you made me do, but I submitted and the results are remarkable.
I like training with you because you are not condescending, yet firm with me. You know exactly how far to push me on each session. Thank you for making a difference. I and my family too, appreciate all that you have done. Goodbye cortisone shots (smile). Hello to a strong core!
